My Roleplay Life. Chapter 2 Still No Freedom

July10

Skylar’s mum entered the kitchen with her breakfast. “Good Morning are you going to try and break the spell today?” asked Skylar’s Mum.” Maybe.” Skylar replied as she looked down at her script. She ate her delicious breakfast and she glanced back at her script. She scrolled back to the start, of her very first line she said. It was STUCK. “What a ackward way to start!” she thought and she went back into character. “Well if your going on a adventure then you better get going becasue the king wants a meeting at 1pm so you better get going!” Her mum said unexpectedly, as if she wanted her out of the house. Skylar grabbed her nicely knitted basket and put on her purple cloak. “Goodbye!” Skylar shouted and left the cottage. Skylar strolled towards the fantasy forest where sadness didnt exiest. It was the most happiest place in the world! Flowers were always blooming even in the winter! And the forest shimmered fantasy orange. It was a place where you could go and all your stresses would go away. Fantasy creatures lived in the forest and would always come out to greet you! Fairies would sing and gnomes would dance and pixies would shower you with flowers. It felt like heaven!

But what Skylar couldnt stop thinking about was that her mum was so desprate to get her out of the house! What must she be hiding?

Chapter 3 coming soon!

The Spooky Castle Chapter 6 by Sam and Reece

July10

Spooky: the basement tunnels of Edole Castle

…everthing was pitch black. Had I been knocked out? My only wish was that it was not another ghost. I’d had my fair share of those for a lifetime. My head ached all over and it felt like I had been knocked out. It was so annoying. I made a silent vow to kill MI6.Suddenly my sight came back and what a sight it was like an oasis. As long as I was free from that ghost for a bit I didn’t mind where I was.I cound hear the rumble of thunder. Suddenly all of the bricks around me moved. Why were they moving?

victorian homework by chelsea

July10

                                                   Rich and poor families

In victorian times, many families had ten or more children.Sadly many children died as babies,or from diseases such as SMALLPOX and DIPTHENA. Child death struck rich and poor families.

In a victorian town,it was easy to tell who was rich and who was poor. Children from richer homes were well fed, wore warm clothes and had shoes on their feet. They did not work, but went to school or had lessons at home.

Poor children looked thin and hungry wore ragged clothes and some had no shoes.Poor children had to work. They were lucky if they went to school.

Fun Facts:

1.Boy chimney sweeps rubbed salt over their Elbows and Knees to toughen the skin.

2. if a victorian child had bumpes on his head and a pointed chin, people said he or she would probably grow up as a thief.

This nation of 82 million doesn’t know what it means to back down, they bring their best on every occasion. And their tenacious work ethic has paid off with lots of trophies. As one of the most consistent performers in the World Cup, you always have to keep an eye on Germany.

  • Germany is the only nation to have won both the men’s and women’s World Cups. The women, in fact, have won the last 2 World Cups and have never been ranked less than 3rd in the world.
  •  Germany has won the World Cup 3 times. They beat Hungary 3-2 in Switzerland, 1954. They edged the Netherlands 2-1 in Germany, 1974. And they defeated Argentina 1-0 in Italy, 1990.

* Spain are the first team to win back to back European Championships with a World Cup triumph in between. It is their third European title, equalling Germany’s record.

* The four-goal winning margin was the biggest in a European Championship or World Cup final.

* Vicente Del Bosque is only the second coach to win a European Championship and a World Cup, joining Helmut Schoen, who led West Germany to victory at the 1972 European Championship and the World Cup two years later.

* Sunday’s victory was Spain’s first outright win over Italy in eight major tournament matches (they won a penalty shootout after a 0-0 draw in Euro 2008 quarter-finals)

* Spain striker Fernando Torres is the first player to score in two European Championship finals and wins the Euro 2012 golden boot for top scorer, by virtue of also having an assist and having played fewer minutes than Germany’s Mario Gomez who also had three goals.

* Spain are unbeaten in their last 12 European Championship finals matches and have not conceded a goal in their last five, both competition records. They have kept clean sheets in their last 10 knockout games at the European and World Cup finals.

* Their last defeat in European Championship play was a 2-0 loss to Sweden in qualifying in 2006 – a 29-game undefeated run.

* The last time Spain lost after taking a 1-0 lead was a 3-2 defeat at Northern Ireland in September 2006.

* It is only the third time a team has scored twice before halftime in a Euros final. Italy beat Yugoslavia 2-0 in 1968 and Czechoslovakia beat West Germany on penalties in 1976 after leading 2-1 at the break.

* Spain goalkeeper Iker Casillas is only the second player along with Franz Beckenbauer (1972-1976) to captain their country in three European Championship/World Cup finals.

* Casillas is also the first player to reach 100 international wins and has a record 79 clean sheets in his 136 appearances.

* Spain midfielder David Silva was directly involved in five goals at Euro 2012 (2 goals, 3 assists), more than any other player.

* Goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon passed Dino Zoff’s record for the most appearances at the European/World Cup finals with his 25th game. Only Paolo Maldini (36) and Fabio Cannavaro (26) have played more times for Italy.
